It’s incredible to me how many lip stick brands there are to choose from & then if you look at colors, there are millions of them to choose from as well. It is very hard to find the brand & color best suited for youI was recently given Bite Lip matte creme lip crayon to try & review. To be completely honest, I had never heard of the brand even though it is sold at Sephora & there is a lip lab on Prince Street where you can go & create your own custom blend.

Bite Beauty is manufactured in Toronto, Canada & the founder isSusanne Langmuir. After a few failed businesses, Susanne found success concentrating on natural ingredients that are good enough to eat exclusively for lips. She is a firm believer that whatever you put on your lips should be good enough for you to actually eat. The name of her colors are named after wines as they contain reserveratol, an ingredient fount in wine that acts as an antioxidant & foods that are good for you. Her ingredients are all natural & work to make your lips not only look good, but feel good as well. They are water resistant & stay on lips for longer wear. Also, as an added plus, they are paraben, sulfate, & phthalates free.

I tried the Lip mattein the color Aubergine-eggplant. I loved the tube it was in, I loved the color & I loved the way it felt on my lips. It was also surprising to me that the flavor & smell of it was so natural & pleasing. I never realized how much you tend to lick your lips when wearing a lip product. I definitely do it a lot. The difference when wearing the Bite Beauty line was that I actually enjoyed it. The other nice thing about this lip crayon as it actually works to sooth & hydrate your lips while making them look great at the same time.

At $24.00 for SIZE 0.05 oz/ 1.56 g, I thought it was a great value for this product. I am even considering going to the Lip Lab on Prince St. & making a lip product of my own.
