New Year

In 2018, we resolve to know our worth and to be humble. We encourage you to do the same. Look back at the past year’s successes, no matter how small they might seem, to remind yourself how hard you’ve worked. But don’t let those achievements make you cocky. It could slow your progression in the new year. 2018 began with a super moon. It was a beautiful birth to your greatest year yet.

New Moon:

Darkness makes us vulnerable. The light from the moon is most precious to those who are afraid of the dark.

When we are fearful and stressed, we can forget our basic needs to survive. How much water did you drink today? At the beginning of the year, there is so much pressure to make grand gestures and changes. It is overwhelming. Don’t do this to yourself. Not again. Practice self care this year. Self care is not a some millennial hoax that feeds, what our predecessors see as, our narcissistic tendencies. It is life changing behaviors that protect and PRESERVE your health and well being. Each zodiac will be advised take time to care for themselves. Of course, with some beauty referrals.

New Makeup:

Spoiler Alert! Makeup does have an expiration date. While you may want to keep that compact for sentimental reasons, there does come a time when you must stop applying that blush from the limited edition palette. Makeup becomes vintage very fast. Start this year by going through your makeup and cleaning out what’s been there for too long. Here is a short list of helpful expiration dates.

Eyeliner: 6 months to 1 year
Mascara: 3 months
Blush, eye shadow, and other powder cosmetics: 1-2 years.
Foundation: 6 months to 2 years.
Lipstick: 2 years.
