Spring Came Early + Brought a Delicious Looking LUXE Cheek palette With It! We’re Screaming!!

@Bufferingbetty

Natasha Denona is bringing our cheeks back to life with this cream + powder cheek quad.

Why bother listening to a superstitious. groundhog to tell you that Spring is just around the when Natasha Denona just confirmed it! This week she released the latest in her ultra-delicious cheek collection.

Meet the Bloom blush + GLow Palette

Natasha Denona is a makeup artist whose career dates back to the mid 90s.

Ready for your cheek bones to be turned all the way up?

“- Glow Cream Base in Peach (natural peach)

- Cream Blush in Fuchsia (deep cherry red with a subtle bronze shine)

- Glow Extreme in Light Rose (nude champagne)

- Duo Glow in Vibrant, Golden Coral (vibrant coral with golden champagne)”

Shade descriptions from here

Is that red calling anyone else?!?!

One of my favorite things about cream blush is the multiple functions of it. As well as dolling up your cheeks you can apply it to your lips!

The powder highlight has so much dimension!!

If you fawn over Natasha Denona products, you see how her cheek colors are never flat. Never one note. As her models turn their head, you see all of the gorgeous colors lighting up their faces.

The shades and tones are flattering on a spectrum of different skin tones!

I’m dusting off my Spring favorites and adding this new beauty to my collection!

Is Powder Foundation Making A Comeback?

@bufferingbetty

Will this old school rap be a new school hit?

Have you felt it too? There are changes happening in trends lately. Recent product launches + the looks that have come down the runway are hinting that what has reigned for the past few years may be phasing out.

Brands have been extending their popular foundations ranges to include a powder formulation.

Both Estee Lauder and Maybelline have released powder foundations this year!

With all that being said…

Will powder foundation ever replace the popularity of liquid foundation?
I don’t think so. All makeup application takes practice to master but powders require a little more finessing.

Poor application of powder can age you. Whether you’re 32 years old or 57 years old, there’s a good chance you don’t actually want to look 15 years older than you are.

If you have oily skin, powder foundation can probably be the key to getting that lasting look. Finishes of powder foundations tend to be matte. Matte looks have been getting more attention recently.

Dewy skin elevated to glass skin but maybe that trend is starting to phase out too.

Makeup looks that emerged from Autumn/Winter Fashion week had a mix of dewy, matte, and ‘natural’ finish in complexions. Harper’s Bazaar put together the looks from the week and you can see the full break down here

There is a shift in the beauty industry. Let’s see where it goes!

If you’ve got dry skin and want to give powder foundation a fighting chance, make sure you’ve got a good setting spray on deck!

7 Concealers That Prove 2019 is the Year of Hidden Eye Bags

Danyelle Valentin // @bufferingbetty

BRB, off perfecting that under-eye triangle.

If 2017 was the year of color corrector, and 2018 was the year of blush, I’m left wondering what 2019 will be crowned the year of. My prediction is concealer! Since Tarte’s concealer, Shape Tape, lined beauty counters and brightened the under eye hallows of beauty lovers across the land, competing brands have been trying their best to topple the top-selling, top-rated, cherry-on-top concealer. Even Tarte! After Shape Tape, an Ulta exclusive, was a major success, Tarte released their Creaseless Concealer. It wasn’t a smash hit like Shape Tape. Nothing has been. But a new year means new beauty launches. Some of the most highly anticipated launches are concealers. Here are a few that will have you clicking ‘add to cart.’

1. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer

The Big Claim: Self setting! What? How? Is it wizardry? Either way, it’s already chilling in my cart waiting for my income tax check to clear.

2. Milani Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer

The Hype: It’s a concealer to go hand in hand with MIlani’s foundation that goes by the same name. The foundation is know for the potency of it;s pigmentation.

Shop here

3. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer

The Fenty Effect: From its takeover of the beauty industry, Fenty Beauty set a new standard of true inclusion by debuting with 40 shades of foundation. They went even further with their concealer launch: 50 shades. Bonus: 8 setting powders accompany the range!

Launch date: Jan. 11th!

4. L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer

5. Smashbox Studio Skin Flawless 24 Hour Concealer

The Big Claim: Won’t clog pores. As someone who has had to deal with back stabbing concealers that made me look so good but treated my skin so bad, this gives me hope! This promise better not play games with my heart.
